My established client is seeking an L&D coach to join their office in Altrincham, Cheshire.
This role would suit someone passionate about learning and development, possibly with their own previous recruitment experience.
The Learning and Development team need to exemplify the behaviours that my client expects to see in others across all areas of the business, a commitment to continuous improvement and genuine interest in learning is vital. As a Learning and Development Coach, you should be committed to improving your own skills and be proactive in seeking out development opportunities.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of HR, and work as part of a dynamic and multinational team within the company, with responsibility for the development of their staff across their global offices.
As a coach, the emphasis is on listening rather than talking is key. A competent Learning and Development Coach should be able to ascertain the level of knowledge and skills the learner has and guide them to find the answers for themselves.
Main Duties include:
- Delivering induction to new starters and supporting with onboarding for new recruits across the business
- Delivering training courses, including but not limited to Introduction to Recruitment, Introduction to Business Development and Leadership Training
- Maintaining training records for team members
- Internal recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding
- Compiling HR reports
- Call reviewing and analysis of calls, picking out calls that demonstrate competence to add to the I-Learning Library
- Deskside coaching and real-time feedback to consultants
- Support Consultants with the use of the database and other applications.
- Assessing competencies and skills of consultants to ascertain where Learning and Development support is required.
- Co-ordinating and managing matrix review meetings and annual reviews for team members
- Liaising with Divisional Managers to understand requirements on their teams for upskilling and training
- Constant development of training programmes, including upgrading existing resources and creating new content, including updating e-learning and LMS content
- Engage with 3rd party suppliers to keep up to date with learning and development
- Consistently engage with WRS team members to develop good working practices.
- Updating & creation of online eLearning modules
- Arranging whole company training sessions, online and face-to-face, where required
